Times a wasting T-Mobile. With Sprint releasing the Instinct on the 20th with EVDO Rev.A and you having NO date as when you're 3G will be available to the masses.
Oh I know, rumor has it T-Mobile will be the first to offer a Google Android handset.
One problem rumor has it the other carrier to offer a Google Android handset with be...you guessed it Sprint!
So I'd say T-Mobile better get you're high speed butt in gear. Because great customer service and competitive price plans won't be enough to keep people from jumping ship to the latest & greatest high speed mobile Internet services offered by...well everyone else!
...
Stop now. Please. You aren't doing any good whatsoever.
...
Sorry to let you know you are part of a niche market, the mass market could care less about wireless internet. And by the time the mass market starts getting wireless internet, T-Mobile will have 3g.
...
🙄 As soon as Sprint gets their ridiculously high churn under control, I'll listen to subscriber acquisition tips. 🙄
...
The 20th does not mean much when you have the ability to purchase unlocked phones that are 10x better. This is one of the great advantages of having GSM technology. Also, TMobile is not the carrier having problems signing up new customers. When Sprint gets out of the red with net adds per quarter then this post will be relevant. Sorry but nice try 😉
...
So if customers don't care about customer service or competitive price plans then why does sprint continue to lose customers every quarter? Churn doesn't lie. 🤣
...
That unless you are an industry insider (and I obviously have no idea if you are), all of this is speculation is both moot and stupid, as you have no idea about the grand strategy and specific strategies (i.e., those relating to specific offerings or market segments, etc.) that each company is pursuing, or for that matter the rationales behind the same. In other words, if you have substantive information from a credible inside source regarding your points then please do share it, but attribute it accordingly to the source.
...
sorry, Instinct will have UMTS version for T-Mobile due Q4
want to go to Sprint for Instinct, no thanks
Sprint is the most messy carrier I ever seen
though there's NO cool phone or bleeding edge technology, T-Mobile still can manage to have some net adds, and the postpaid churn is 1.7%, a record low
once Sprint applies 5GB cap on datacard/tethering, they'll lose data advantage
the higher of speed=easier to hit cap and get fired!

This thread is a failure in more ways than any sane and reasonable person can count.

If the Federal Government would get done with the 3G Frequency we paid for we would be there now.
...
Like I said before, this knowledge was given to Tmo at time of purchase. No deadline to vacate at all, nor any penalties. What a dumb buy
...
So...given the limited amount of spectrum available in the US, which is restricted pretty much to FCC auctions unless one company buys another, you're saying T-Mobile would be better off without this spectrum compared to having to wait a few years for it?
