Unlocking Tmobile phone from eBay

I got tired of the original t68i that I got with my Tmobile service (piece of crap) and sold it on ebay... I then bought a Samsung R225 (awesome phone) through eBay.

This phone is currently locked into Tmobile and I would like to unlock it. I heard Tmobile will let you unlock your original phone, but since I never unlocked my original phone, would they allow me to unlock this one?

I've had my service for 8 months.

😁 I think so, since you past the 90 days restrictions.

yes, you most certainly may. T-Mobile will provide one unlock code every 90 days per line of service as requested, regardless of where you got it...just as long as you're a customer. 🙂

Terry sort of hinted at that but it wasn't as clear as you made it! Thank you for clarifying!!

no prob, and I agree with you on the R225...I have one, though I'm currently using a sidekickII , but my R225 is over 2 years old and never had a days trouble out of it, it works terrific!

😁 i have that phone too, but I stopped using it when I bought my E715. And I plan on changing phones again when T-Nobile releases the EDGE phones. Did you see the new Samsung phones from the CES 2005 event? The T-Mobile phones look nice but I don't like that slider phone. I might go for the V635 if T-Mobile carries it, and if its not expensive since it has EDGE built-in. Can they do that?
