BTW, battery life is important, I personally detest Motorola phones because the batter sucks. I'm more of a Nokia/Sony Ericcson fan. Samsung is okay, and I don't know how Sidekick or HTC are in that department. 🤭

if you're planning on also using it as a home phone, i suggest the hotspot @ home add on. the Nokia 6086 is reliable, cheap, wi-fi. add the wireless router for free after rebate with unlimited H@H add on, unlimited minutes, great reception at home or any hotspot you connect to. if mom needs a data phone, curve just came out with wi-fi. for grandma, if she doesn't want the 6086 with all the features it has, the t219 from samsung has a simple interface, no frills, excellent speakerphone, large numbers on screen, even a function that lets the phone speak the # as it is entered. just my 2 cents
