Which do you guys think has better coverage?
...
another one of those questions but I am in a better mood today so I will play.
Were you live?
What are you looking for like voice only or data too?
...
I need both.
I just got helio now, 2 days ago, but kinda thinking I should have gone t-mobile flex pay...I feel weird having HELIO...
I know they have "deep pockets" because of who owns them, but its in the back of my mind that I won't have a cell in a year...
I live near chicago, IL. Travel or Vernon Hills, IL for work.
I always see the "No one has fewer droped calls in chicago" billboards....
So i've just always wondered. I had t-mobile before, but that was a few years ago....So not sure how they improved.
...
well tmobile has almost zero data choices so go with helio. If they go out of business then they will tell you and you can take you number somewhere else.

LOL! 🤣 wombough, you crack me up. How's it going?
For:Too2Two, go to both of their websites, and compare networks.
...
🤣
Good how you been! You wrote my answer but I was being nice.
...
YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY THAT...VERY RUDE. HE OR SHE JUST ASKED A QUESTION.
...
T-Mobile is better and cheaper. I've had Helio, and it seemed a bit pricy for me. That, and you can't access every site like you can on a T-mobile phone.
...
Well Tmobile must be changing when I had them their data was 10x slower then dial up!
...
It's slower than Helio, not by much though, but I didn't like the fact that i couldn't go to whatever site I wanted.
...
oh I would think helio EVDO is much faster then tmobile's 1.5g data. But if you can't go to any website then they differ greatly from sprint!
...
Correction: Helio is faster, but they only alow certain sites [at least when I had them].
...
oh ok then they are very different then sprint if that is correct. Sprint allowed full html sites and you can go to any site. I figured helio was the same since they work off the same network and heilo boosts their data allot to. but guess not. I never had them and never will.
...
Yeah, you're not missing much.
...
I don't know how do you get 1.5G (it never exists ever in the entire world)
currently T-Mobile has 2.75G (EDGE), and 3G is just in 2 months
I remember it mentioned in here, that Helio has 160MB cap (huh???), just search news archive
Helio uses Sprint system
...
160MB cap?! 🤨 That's fruity!
...
you're wrong again
except you use CSD, speed is 48kbps with GPRS (comparable with dial-up), up to 225kbps with EDGE
...
The subject to this msg says it all.
...
I'd avoid CDMA MVNO
with GSM MVNO (except Tracfone/Net10, they're fake GSM), you can use your own unlocked phone, that the phone don't rend useless once the MVNO dies
...
Well I was told that Helio works on Verizon and Sprint and both networks cover a lot. If you go to the TMobile website you can check your coverage area. Just enter your full street address and/or zip and the map will show you if you have coverage in your area or not. 🙂
