2 new VoIP phones are out today

Very dull boring phones compared to the rest of the inventory.

Already seen some customers excited about the at home hot spot service until they see the required phone.

Hard to go from a PDA, a slider, or Razr to this. I thought the vendors knew by now that style sells...

Just to let you know, @home uses a completely different tech than VoIP.

I had a switch tech come to my store a few days ago, and he explained it, but I dont remember exactly how it works. Its technically VoIP, but it doesnt work like any VoIP out there right now. You go over the internet to a T-Mobile switch, then it goes out from there like any regular call.

Like with hotspot@home, if you are in another country, and you log onto a wireless network, it actually doesnt cost you roaming charges. However internation DIALING (meaning from US to another country) still cost money. With roaming, the internet gets to the switch in the US, which is little cost, and at that point the cost to T-Mobile is that of a regular cell call. But if you dial out to another country from a wifi network, the call still has to be sen...

What the hell? The T409 looks like a downgraded sync. They swapped out the outer color display with an OLED one and gave it a 1.3 megapixel camera. **RASPBERRY** 😛

What had to the Samsung Slider that is wifi? I think it was model T709.
