T-Mobile Coverage Map!

AberFitchDuDe87

Is it me or has T-Mobile's coverage map expanded within the last two months or so??
I was looking at it earlier today and it seems like there is more coverage in places that there wasn't any. Looks like a lot more green on the map then before. 😲

Oh,ok! Thats pretty good! It's only a matter of time before T-Mobile bumps Verizon out of the #1 spot! GSM is "in" & CDMA is "out & old!!" 😁

Man does not live by coverage alone. Service plays a huge role. That is why Verizon is going to SUCK TMo's wind.

That it does so don't be suprised if VZW takes back that CS award fairly shortly!!! The only wind VZW is going to suck is fresh soothing air, as you move in behind an d smell our ass...lol

How do you morons expect to compete in a digital, international society with your pathetic out dated technology? Digital to digital TMo blows your dippy little company out of the water. In five years we will be the 800 pound gorilla and you will be the obsolete fools. 😲

Though CDMA’s application in cellular telephony is relatively new, it is not a new technology. CDMA has been used in many military applications, such as:

* Anti-jamming (because of the spread signal, it is difficult to jam or interfere with a CDMA signal).
* Ranging (measuring the distance of the transmission to know when it will be received).
* Secure communications (the spread spectrum signal is very hard to detect).

how about you do a little reading. 😁

I sell t-mobile and the coverage mapis a joke if you are comparing t-mobile to verizon coverage at this time. Here in NY its no question Verizon is number one. I dont sell verizon but sell all the other carriers. The demand for verizon at this time is high. Maybe in a few years t-mobile will expand there network but for right now its average and below average in certain areas especially here in Long Island NY.

Thats what I'm preaching...with T-Mobile if you're not on a highway or in a major city you are screwed...sometimes don't even cover highwayshere in Ohio major highway in between Cleveland and Columbus (I-71) is not even completely covered

All of this is BS. Service is not going to win the market. It is going to be the phones and plan. verizon phones suck (only manufacture warranty) and the plans are a ripoff.

It is all a trade off. Are you willing to trade coverage in BFE where you never go for great phones, awesome rate plans and international flexibility? Do you need to make calls in the mountains of Montana or do you need an affordable rate plan?

Get real VZWMan!! Screw Verizon! Their CDMA technology is old & slow! Sure T-Mobile can't compete with gay Verizon's coverage. But Verizon can't compete with T-Mobile's advanced GSM technology. Look at Verizon they just got their first "bluetooth" phone like a month ago. And 'bluetooth" phones have been out for like 2 years already!! Does that ring a bell VZWMan?? Verizon is going to be out of business in the near future! B/c technology is always going for the better, with better phones/features which Verizon can't keep up or don't want to keep b/c they are stuck in the past!! And technology is also pointing to "digital" which is GSM not CDMA! Those are the facts!! Deal with it VZWMan! 🙄

WoW VZWMan! It took you that long to reply with a stupid comeback like that? 😕 Damn! Then you are really slow! Oh, yea by the way that's kind of immature to write "aberf*ck"! Don't you think! How about when you grow up,act mature, and could come up with better comebacks than that, then write back! Until then "Go play in traffic!!". 🙄

Ok... I'll take Verizons back this one last time... Yes I do personally feel GSM is a better technology all around... but... to claim that CDMA is slow is incorrect... they do have a good network, and getting better on data... which I must say, their connection speeds are better than TMobile... TMo has still yet to get faster than GPRS... TMobile needs to take lessons from Cingular... look at our EDGE coverage...

Dang VZWMan... I have probably thrown a shot at you in the Cingular or Verizon forum, but I have to agree with you on this one... Even as much as I can't stand VZW, it is kind of stupid for someone to throw TMobile into the same category as VZW... VZW has only one competitor... and TMo is not it...

Sorry buddy boy GSM is older than CDMA... and a matter of time when T-Mobile bumps Verizon?? hhaha what are you smoking? TMobile 15mil customers, VZW 41 million.. it will never happen! How much did T-Mobile spend last year on their network? I can tell you no where near the $4 billion Verizon spent in 2003, $5 billion this year and spending another $5 billion in 2006... Looks like there's A LOT of catching up for Tiny Mobile.

Sure, whatever you say!! HaHa!! 😛 Yes!, it will happen T-Mobile will bump Verizon! Ok? I doubt so much that Verizon is going to be #1 forever!!?? Get real Barry! What ****ing world are you living in? Verizon covers like 90-95 percent of the America, according to YOU! You say they've spent so much money on expanding network since 2003! Yeah right! Were is the proof on thier map? They still cover 90-95 percent of America. I don't see ANY difference in thier coverage. If they had used that type of money since 2003 they would have covered like 98-99 percent of America! Sorry to burst your bubble! But you don't know what your talking about! Very soon T-Mobile will knock out Verizon!

actually most of the money has one into adding spectrum in much needed areas and ending roaming agreements by building our own network in rural areas. We have also spent billions in R and D for out EV-Do service which will be by far the fastest data service in N America

BTW, what signal do they use in VA? Does T-mobile even use the 850 band? I already hate the reception and I just got my phone.

I think what sets T-Mobile apart from Cingular, Verizon, AT&T, Nextel is their network. Just because you have a network or a certain type of network (GSM, CDMA) doesn't mean you know how the network runs. I think that is what T-Mobile has done is perfected there network to run like a real GSM network. GSM has been around for a long time just not in the United States. T-Mobile has the expertise from European networks and thats why no other network can beat it. Verizon proclaims to have lots of coverage, but they are only claiming. I know lots of people that don't have coverage and are always upset with Verizon's network. T-Mobile may not have the most coverage but at least they don't lie about the coverage they do have. They tell it where the...
