I've just returned to the States for a few weeks to take care of some personal matters. Is it possible to buy just a pre paid sim from Tmobile? I checked the website and it looks like you have to buy a phone as well. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

You can buy just a SIM package from corporate stores for $50 which includes $30 of domestic talk time credit.

The far more economical way is to buy a "pre-activated" SIM on eBay for around $10 - $12 delivered. These cards generally come with 130 or so minutes included but require that you replenish minutes within four to six weeks or you'll lose any credit you have on the account. yea and get scammed off ebay..thats definitly a good way to welcome foreiners..yaaay!!! do not buy off of ebay these preactiveated sim cards are a scam......good price tho.. the reasons from a disgruntled prepaid rep...errr 😈 🤣

you have a large chance of getting no mins on the sim card

the sim card will probaly be deact.

if it is active then expiration date will probaly expire in 1 week or so.

ends up being a huge hassle bc the customer cant verify the account and then we have to send them to direct dealer and the customer ends up very upset for being bounced around.

and notice that all the numbers are from scam capitols of the great nation of USA: NYC and LAC not to much boston anymore.

just go to wal-mart a...

but is better to play it safe and do it the right way..ive seen many many cases where the customer get scammed and i see this on a daily basis..i just wouldnt recommond it to new customers bc that puts a bad taste in their mouth about tmobile if they do get scammed and everything else i said that happens..good for you that you know what your doing but i dont think new customers should take this advice. from what ive seen what happend to each customer i just think its right and to add on to that, its illegal for them to even sell preactivated sim cards accouding to tmobile policy, its dealer fraud so you and everyone else that is buying these is just adding fuel to the fire...
