News about the Samsung a930

I'm looking at a $50 mail in rebate that expires on June 19 for the Samsung a930. Expect this phone within the month. I'm an indirect and don't have an exact release date, but it's soon. Just thought I'd inform those of you that have been peeing your pants waiting for this. 😁

I didn't see the info posted on hofo for the Samsung a930. I've been waiting on info for this phone. I hope to see some personal reviews from various websites before I decide to buy this phone. I took a gamble on August of 2004 when I bought the Samsung a650. Luckily for me, it paid off as I've been happier with it reception wise than I was with my Motorola 120c, and even my brother's LG VX4400 & Motorola V265. At that time, I wanted to upgrade to a flip phone and wanted tri-mode, and my choices that weren't Motorola were Audiovox CDM8600 & CDM8900, & Samsung a650. I read bad reviews on the CDM8600 ...

You should check out the Motorola V325. It's an awesome phone, it has a camera, and it's tri-mode. It doesn't have some of the cool features that the a930 will, but at least you'll be able to make calls when you need to. 🙂

Sorry, but I have no faith in Motorola products. If anyone I meet praises Motorola, it's primarily those who are on T-Mobile or Cingular. I had the 120c and was unhappy with it reception wise, and my brother had the Motorola V265, and his quit working completely before his contract was up, and now won't go with Motorola again. My co-worker who has the Motorola e815 and he finds his phone not working in some of the same places that my old Motorola 120c didn't work either,...

wow can't believe i missed this post, this is big news, is it safe to say that the phone should be coming out in the next couple of weeks, so that the rebate is valid for at least 30 days?

Not to be a buzz killer, but on previous phones, they had rebate forms out, then the phone was pushed back and new rebate forms sent out.
