Yeah System, I used to hit hard on you for your sland at one time too...but I saw that you acted professionally. I live in a neighborhood where street talk is typically followed by street lifestyle. So I associate the two together. It burns me to see so many bright young minds get caught up in the ghetto lifestyle. VZW used to offer a price plan: Americas choice II 500 anytime - $50 for the primary and $9.99 for each additional line. I really wish they would bring this price plan back. It was available up until Q2 of last year. đ
Sprint also has the $59.99 for two lines of service with 550 minutes. T-mobile has the $59.99 price plan except theirs is 700 minutes.
I hear a lot of complaints from customers that average around 100-200 minutes a month in their family share price plans (usually our older-age customers). I really hope VZW comes out with something in this price range.

ARPU dropped 2.3 percent
Verizon will beat 'em, 'specially in churn, but... not bad for Cing at all. However, I kinda doubt VZW finds it scary much:

VZW exec #2: Really? Oh, okay... I guess its time to bring back the $59.99 Family plans. We don't want to give them any hope, after all.

Wow. Cingular turns a profit for the first time in 3 years and Verizon has yet to lose money in the last 6 and churn is still nearly double Verizon's.

Apples and oranges Cingular has been through a lot in the last three years. It is good for the industry that Cingular had a good first quarter. Verizon has been the number one wireless carrier for a long time and it is good that Cingular is giving them a good fight for the number one spot. If Cingular was GSM from the start and Verizon was TDMA and had to convert to CDMA or GSM. Then buy out AT&T then integrate the networks and put in 3g at the same time. Verizon and Cingular are apples and oranges.
