I've had the Voyager for at least a year or so and unfortunately not able to upgrade til 3/2010 so I'm in a bit of a quandry...Hope someone has some suggestions:

Basically I did the software upgrade when it first came out last year...Everything was fine for awhile now I am getting these weird issues such as the phone resetting when trying to access gmail.com with the enhanced browser.

Also the battery doesnt hold a charge for that long and I know I can buy an extended battery for it...Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to 3 or 4 different stores and was basically told the same thing....They dont see anything wrong and cant explain why the phone is resetting...Anyone have any suggestions? I have an old LG I suppose ...

Do you know what software version is on it? We're up on version 11 now for the Voyager. They've been coming out with software upgrades every few months. I assume it's the black one, that assumption correct?

I don't know why, but lately LG has come to be known for resetting. We see it all the time in our store. They all reset randomly with no discernible pattern as to why or how, and none of the software upgrades has fully removed the problem.

>SW version - long string of characters ending in two numbers. When I say version 11, I'm referring to the last two numbers.

I'd bet you're on 09.

If you click on my nickname you can send me a private message. I can look up your info and see if I'm able to send you a phone. In reading some of your other posts, I already know you're in the north east. I'd need your mobile number to look up your account.

You may want to also check the battery connection. The LG's like the voyager and the env, the battery starts to seperate at the terminal as it gets older. If that is happening, they will have to replace your phone and battery if you have insurance or under warranty. Hope this helps.

I have had my Voyager since early September and use log upwards of 10x as many hours on the browser as I do actually talking on the thing.

I've only had the browser fail on me twice, and both circumstances were while attempting to access Google sites with the stated intent to see just how far I could push the browser before it crashed. I haven't tried since.

Once I was trying to get into standard-web Gmail and once trying my luck at a Google docs spreadsheet.

The reality is that these are Flash Applications, and I am not yet aware of any mobile device of any kind on any carrier that can support Flash apps on a mobile device.

Generally speaking, any site that has "roll-done" menus that "fly-out" menu options after selecting rathe...

i had the same issue. i figured out that i had changed the home page to igoogle and it was an issue with trying to log in to the mobile site when i opened the page... went through 4 of them... don't set it to remember any log in info and you should be good... and leave the home page to the verizon default.
