Well I am a current ATTWS customer 🙄 and while I do like my service I for one WILL be one of those 10 to 1 folks porting over to Verizon simply because I HATE cingular (sorry phonepimp 😛 ) and refuse to be one of their customers. So once the merger really goes down I am escaping to the so called "Ememy" of cellular. I guess I have fallen prey to the Verizon hype.... 😈

that is so sad!! you'd leave because of the merger, i work for att cc, and you're not alone in feeling that way, i have had several customers call in to care and beg ME not to let the merger go through!, me as if i had a say in it! They all have said they left cingular for us at some point, I tell them al the same thing, the Cingular they knew pre-merger, will NOT be the same Cingular they know POST-merger, They cant be, two of the largest and best known wireless companies are becoming ONE, bringing our best and worst features to the table, and you better believe what we still offer to customers after merger will be a combo of the best of both wireless companies. 😳 Att is terrible and Cingular is just as bad. Personally I think the merger will only make matters worst. I work for attws CC care and I get calls from customers that have been promised service in their area and dont get it or these dumb a** sales reps put them on the wrong rate plan causing their bills to be sky high. Dont get me started on the Shi*ty phones they have. None of them work! If attws had better customer care,sales reps, coverage and phones maybe Verizon wouldn't be #1!

im aware, very aware...hell i dont want this place to be my career either, its customer care, the turnover rate for reps is sky high, we know this, but its still crap that you as a rep would put US reps down, when you say customer care sucks at att thats a direct slap in the face to both me and you! or atleast I think it should be viewed that way. Amen to that post. I sold AT&T for a couple years. Once GSM once introduced they fell flat. Piss poor management. Cingular has built themselves into a good company. Everyone will have to wait and see what they do with AT&T.
