I don't think the previous replies were sarcastic, just letting you know that it can vary based on the length of the song, since not all songs are the same length.

Mine was not sarcastic. It really does depend on the size of the songs and the size of the card.

Mine wasn't either. Its not nice to jump to conclusions. I have over 400 songs on my M1 and only using half a gig. It all depends on size and compression. There are so many factors. just like pics. If it is a 1 mega pixel it will hold 3 times more then a 3 mega pixels. See what I am saying? Not sarcastic. And unless it is blatant it is hard to tell on the computer.

Exactly. pics, videos, movies, etc.... make a difference.

You did but songs are not all one length some are 3 min some are as long as 7 that makes a big difference! that 7 takes up more then 2 3 min ones. See? So many things determine it!

That, and if it's done in mp3 or wma format. WMA format takes up more room than mp3 does.
