Third party BREW apps forbidden?
If true, it sounds like what if Microsoft banned all Windows OS programs not written by them.
Please tell me it's not true...

Most likely he knows someone that works at verizon.. my son's friend worked in one of the stores and made changes to my phone which was in MY NAME!

No clue if what you're asking is possible... just thought I'd throw in an analogy to your comment.
http://www.google.com/gmm/ » and third party apps, like loan calculators and games. They all seem to be available for Java, but none for BREW unless you buy or rent them from the carrier.
Are any Verizon phones capable of running both BREW and JAVA, or does Qualcomm prohibit that?
