? don't have it yet, but i will say the krzr blows! if you want texting get the 9900, if you just want a small sleek phone get the 8600.

there are 2 themes, one is similar to the verizon ui but has more tabs and the coloring is different. the default theme is an icon grid. didn't play with it too much. the screen quality is excellent, especially when taking pics.

i personally don't care for the new design and the fact you can't send a 2.0 mp picture isn't cool

I have the 9900, somehow I got it yesterday before they even had it on display or anything. I am blown away by it, so quality. By the way it has 2 display themes, one is light blue and one is standard LG black with green battery bars. The main screen is amazing, Speakerphone is incredible, reception is good, size is good. I LOVE THIS PHONE.

no, it's a much cleaner more versatile UI. The colors are light blue and black...I am guessing they just don't want to have orange, yellow, purple and whatever other competitors colors available to choose on this phone. It is nice...I am currently putting wallpapers and ringtones on the phone everything looks and sounds great.

Does anyone know why this phone does not support data? Are there plans to eventually do that? I dont understand the need for Querty unless you support data. IMO.

Of course, there are those that txt and love this feature. To me, txt'ing is something that is done with one hand.

;)

If this phone had data support, I would get it...since it doesnt, seems like a over-glorified device that just looks pretty.

you have the keyboard for your calender and the phone supports wireless sync email and vcast which includes unlimited mobile web. For a lot of people that is bettter, i just need the web everynow and then and would rather not pay $45 dollars to get it. It may not give you the freedom of a full pda but at leaste you can send a pix messsage without getting charged kb's

Fair point, and now that I think of it, I might look into it.

What kind of calendar is on it? LG proprietary?

yeah just a normal lg calender nothing special, but it works for me just fine. I use it all the time on my chocolate, just a pain not having a keyboard.

The 9900 is tight! The navigation is sweet, the screen quality is awesome. It's a must buy!
