VERIZON BROADBAND

Mia

I'm thinking about getting the verizon broadband plan for my laptop. I have a new Dell E1505 and i went to the store yesterday and the rep said that I would need the more expensive card since the computer was newer ($150), I know it probably can't compare to cable performance. but I need feedback on reliability (i'm aware it depends on the area and where you take your laptop) but I just want some input from someone who has actually used the service/card. I'm in the Nashville area by the way.

Thanks a bunch!

I set one up yesterday for a customer, we played around with it for a while, it seemed to work pretty good, he had an older computer and I am not sure of the RAM he had in it which would make a huge difference.

We browsed some sites and hee said it was just as quick as the wi-fi he was use to in the hotels he stayed at. to me it looked a little slower then the wi-fi I use at home but my computer is brand new (Dell 1505 also).

Hope this helps.

P.S. I want to say his computer was 3ish yrs old

Mia, why not try out the BroadbandAccess Connect? There is no equipment to buy and no contract to sign. Just turn it on and off because it is a feature, like VCast:

love my broad band card. I spend a lot of time in airports and I was real discouraged with the price that some of the airports charge for service.

With my broadband card, I am on, anytime any place and its fast. Love it

I take it that this new Dell Laptop did not have the card built in to it? Some of the new Dell's have it already and nothing to buy but to activate the card.
