BAD NEWS FOR LG VX9900
I talked to a guy at Verizon Wireless today and he said that he has been made aware of the LG VX9900. So then I asked him when it will come out. He said APRIL OF NEXT YEAR 😳. Now I don't know about ya'll out there but that is BAD news to me! I want that phone so bad! No offense to my current phone, the Motorola E815, but I'm tired of it! I've had it for a year and I'm sooooo ready to move on. HURRY UP VERIZON AND GET OUT THE 9900! 😢

I've already seen the mock-ups of the 9900's internal pages for our intranet. Still slated for November, but nothing official yet. I'm sure it'll be out before April. That's just absurd.

I honestly don't think they'll wait that long to launch it, it just wouldn't be smart. Verizon can really make bank with this phone if they launch it toward the holiday season. That would be a smart business move when many people already expect this phone and are ready to buy it. It would really suck if they wait that long but again if that phone is still in the "testing" process. I rather wait a little longer to ensure that the phone has all the bugs worked out than have problems with it.

i just talked to my LG rep about an hour ago and he said that the 9900 should come out around november 14th.
he said was right on with the chocolate and the 8300, so i trust him. 😁
man i can't wait for this phone, even at full price i'm still buying it

I work for verizon and it was scheduled for nov 14 but has just been changed for a release date of november 9th. don't worry that's just around the corner! along with some other goodies!!

no its definitely a trade off, even tho the Q is thin I don't want to carry that daily..plus the flip looks hella better IMO, the ease of carry weighs in heavily in my decision.

I never said a treo smartphone the new treo is the treo 700Wx. If you look back at my post and what you quoted I said two new windows pdas in jan and the 5800 is one of them and that is the libra. sorry for the confusion.

well as always the good folks here at verizon have changed the release date again right now it is slated for release on November 20, 2006. that's should be the final change cause I have been guaranteed it will be out before thanksgiving.
