They seems to be a PDA first and a phone second, the Q sound quality is horrible I hope that this is not the case with this.

you are kidding right? i hope you are joking. the sound quality on the q is excellent. may want to own one and use it before you make a comment. i had mine for months and it is the loudest and clearest phone i have ever used. it is way better than the treo and the 6700 call quality wise. those yes you are giving up a little on the phone for the other features it has. its a tradeoff. the 820 from what i have read should be nice. i didnt like it at first due to the pantech thing but we will see. as soon as one comes in i will check it out.
