There has been absolutley no mention of the 9900 other than it is on the approved device list. I'm sure certain people have seen it either at a trade show or someone who is demoing it. The only people that know the exact timing are people too high up in the company to risk their jobs telling us on here. We guess it'll be in the next month or so because it was approved and they will want it out before christmas. However it didn't show up on any of the new rebates, so maybe it won't even be this year.

Most reps don't care enough to fish around the intranet at work to find this stuff out. So they honestly don't know. I like seeing what I can find. From what I've seen, mid-November seems to be go-time, but I can't be certain since they've continually pushed it back. I wish I had a definite for ya. Hell, I've been waiting to find out about the VX8600 for a while and I haven't even found a time-frame for it. VZW likes to keep release dates quiet. Nothing is ever officially announced, even internally, until about a week or two prior. In cases of high-demand phones, it may even be as little as a few days between the announcement and the release.
