hey guys...I have my new every 2 coming up on 10/1 and I would like to get opinions on what phone to get.....I have an Ipod and a Digital camera, I don't mind having nice options but what I want the most is good reception, sound quality and bluetooth.

I have had the V265 and the Nokia 6256i as my last 2 phones...and I have to say they have been the worst 2 phones I have ever had.

let me know what you guys think...thanks

I keep hearing poor reviews on its Bluetooth quality which is one of my big reasons for wanting to upgrade. I could care less about music because I have an Ipod. I am looking for durability, reception, clarity and BT.

Yeah, the 8300 has A LOT of Bluetooth issues. It is a great phone if you don't plan on using BT. I really liked it but couldn't keep it because I use BT a lot.

I say use the 15 day trail period and get the 8300,...I have used bluetooth since day one and I'm not experiencing any problems.

I don't have it, but from research (planning on 8300 for my NE2) I hear the Logitec traveller (there are two versions) are good headsets for clarity, etc.

Thanks for the help. I just purchased the 8300 for my wife and haven't had the chance to use it much.

Thanks again for the info.....I also want the BT feature, and I know I have the 15 day trial, but my experience has been that phones act up after the trial period.. 🤣 🤣

I just upgraded to the 8300 from the V6000 (great phone); so far I love it, only I just started having a little trouble; seems it turns the screen off after 60 seconds even though I selected the 'don't ever turn off' function and I'm wondering if anyone else has this experience or if it's indicative of needing to be returned (I'm still in the 15 day grace period). Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🤨

I just bought the V3m, and my other choice was the 8300.
I want a high quality phone with great reception, and I ran the V3M through some tough tests. I drove from the Pasadena foothills to San Diego over the weekend and visited with family members along the way. (108 miles) One connection, never dropped with the Razr. Never had this go so well before.
The 'sidetone' is a GREAT benefit of Motorola, as I like to know I'm not talking into a dead box.
2 issues took me to the V3M over the 8300.
1)The biggest is the mass of Bluetooth problems with the 8300. I don't have the patience to deal with them.
2)Size. I'd prefer something the size of the Samsung SCH-A650, but there isn't anything that small out now.
I do text a bit, and the Razr...

I am leaning towards the V3M because I love blue tooth. I also found out that if I upgrade at Costco..they guaranty the phone for 2 years...that means that for any reason I can go in and pick another one (important in my opinion because most phones I have had started acting up after the 15 day period Verizon offers). They don't offer the 8300 at Costco though.
