VERIZON EMPLOYEES HELP VX8300 REBATE????
Ok bottom line is i am trying to cheat the system, i bought my vx8300 from my govt rep which credited me the 50.00 instead of me having to send in my rebate form just like if i were to buy it off the verizon site i would get an instant rebate. Anyways can i also send mail in the rebate. Would i get 2 rebates or would verizon know. Hey i am only human and if i can make a easy buck who wouldnt. thanks...

If you have the rebate form, I don't know why that wouldn't work. The rebates are handled by the third party company, so they wouldn't know that you had already received a credit for the phone. The worst that will happen is that you'll waste a few cents on a stamp.

Actually, I do beleive they would know. Young America is actually related to VZW in some way...they have access to our billing systems in some way. Keep in mind that in order to receive the rebate you have to send a copy of the receipt. That receipt from VZW would have an ace order number on it and that order can be pulled to indiacte if the rebate was taken already or not. I am not saying don't try... because that is truly none of my business... but I beleive that the receipt you have to hand in would indicate to them if you are eligible or not. (I have actually worked hand in hand with some Young America reps, so this is not all just guessing... it's got some basis in relality, I promise. )

how did you convince them to give you the rebate when you purchased it? Someone did it for me once when I added a line to my account but since then no one has done it for me. I hate waiting for that stupid rebate!!! Why can't they just give it to you? Or give $50 worth of accessories???

just send the rebate in. or go to vzw web site and fill out form there and send it in this way. is faster for rebate coming back. takes only about 4 weeks to get back this way.and you can still get rebate.even if they gave you 50.00 off up front.unless the receipt says instant rebate on it.you can still get the send in rebate.

i'm in a similar predicament. I order from Customer care with NE2 and they gave it to me free no out of pocket. And also, sent me a rebate?? I'm going to send it in.
