Now that I have your attention. What is with the 30percent troll population in these forums. Don't they (without nameing names) have anything better to do than complain and try to take away from that which is the nations most reliable network. I guess I just don't understand why when people post positive stuff there is allways a select few who HAVE to try to throw there negative energies. Its kinda funny actually cause something negative that's complete bs again jumping on the bandwagon and VZW bash. These same "trolls" or whatever constantly flood the front page with complaints about no new phones and how VZW is so far behind yet when they release four new phones it instantly switchs to how sucky they are even when they havnt even seen the ...

(clear voice) ugh emm, ugh emm....is this thing on (feedback)......THIS HAPPENS IN ALL FORUMS 😳 !

and alot of the people (wont say names) that bash the products are employees or "fanboi/cheerleaders" of the forum being trolled.

the cingular forum was upheld with the presence of "tenmidgets" for quite some time.

as this forum was upheld with the trollism of armysf who is a vzw customer.

so what do we define as a troll? because everytime someone display's dislike about something in a forum (customer, employee, or hater) we proclaim them as a troll.

i have a phone from vzw, t-mobile, sprint, and cingular. (the 1st three are dealer plans πŸ˜‰ i get to keep em for agreeing to a 2 year contract) i hate the UI, t-mo coverage ...

Declareing all who disagree as trolls is not my intention. Rather the point I was trying to make is I'm sick of the same names posting the same tired crap. Maybe I'm old school but if I dislike something I stop useing it as I did with sprint. I didn't waste my time injecting my distaste for my 8200 in every other thread on the sprint forums. I realize people disagree we can all agree on that but it seems this specific forum gets it more often or have more fanatical people involved. I believe people have a right to their opinion I just would like to read a couple of threads without the reason for such and such is the bad *insert complaint here*

okay i get where your coming from.

it will all pass over then a new troll will come back. of course since cingular and vzw are in heavy comp. the trolling between these 2 forums will NEVER stop.

when cingular released "the fewest dropped calls network" ads the trolling began in both forums. just for an example.

so it will never have to stop just slow down until some butthead thinks there isnt enough trolling in a certain forum.

did I mention it seems to allways be the same people that like focus there attention on the "issues" and feel a thread isn't complete without makeing it known there unhappy.

When I joined this forum and decided to become more than just someone who reads I did so to help as best I could. Not try to defend against blatent missrepresentations involveing specific practices or policies within the company I work for.. Maybe I'm a blind follower in my ideals that VZW got to where its at by balanceing customer need and desire with the ability to make money and pay its "bills". I for one am glad they standardized there UI in the four years in the wireless industry nothing in my experiance turned off a customer more than relearning menus. It als...

I've been happy with my service overall. I've been with all 3 majors, and obviously no one can beat VZW reliability. That said, you are forced to trade some things for it - your rights as a consumer (But even that is debatable of course since after all you are the consumer of their product...). Price of course, but you get what you pay for in reliability especially. My one and only major gripe is with limiting many of their phones. Locking them down to where you loose features which were intended by the manufacturer to be used with the phone - until VZW got there hands on it. The standard GUI, while annoying at first is a very good idea, and I applaud VZW (now) for it. At first it just seemed like another jerk on the choke chain around our ...

If verizon was a chip what kind would they be?

My vote is Lays 🀣

This is a public forum which means it’s a β€œFree-Speech Zone” the verizon streets are not paved with gold with marshmallow trees.

Honestly though I think you are doing people a disservice by not suggesting this site as a valuable source of cellular news. It’s a wonderful site and you will find many helpful people ready to assist.

Some people act as if this forum is their home, and they guard it like Fort Knox, these people need to take a step back and gain some perspective.

I have allready agreed that people are due their opinions. However the people I speak of like to impose their position on every thread possible, and are in my opinion overly negative when regarding VZW. Though I was not directing my post at Army to your credit you have become allot more helpfull.

I stopped suggesting this site because I felt I would be doing a disservice to the potential customer who may or maynot read the threads inside Phone Scoop. While no cellphone company is perfect I feel refering someone who I don't know and someone who may form a biased opinion on a compant without even trying the service would be detrimential to my company. How many times have you came to phone scoop and seen the first page of this forum littere...

Oh and for some satire.

Verizon Wireless is most certainly a Cool Ranch Dorito. So tasty and good yet so retrictive in other ways. You can't dip a cool ranch dorito hold back that tates of all tastes. I can take my cool ranch dorito and mix it with other chips alas I get a wierd tatse mixing them. Finally the only thing that seems to work for them are the recipes on the back that are Gasp made by the same company.

Life is so tough loveing my cool ranch doritos. So again I contend Verizon Wireless is most certainly a Cool Ranch Dorito.

Pringles: They are the most expensive chips at the grocery store. They are all the same Shape and size. They come in a special package that no one else has. And no chip is as good as a pringle once you pop you can't stop.
