I did some shopping for another carrier today, and this is what I found. This is usefull info for all customers.

All carriers will charge some type of late fee if your late on your bill.

All carriers do not back up their phones if:
- Its 4 years old and you declined insurance.
- You either sit, drop, run over, dunk it in water, leave it in your car when 110 degreees outside.

All carriers deduct from your anytime minutes if u call an 800 #

All carriers don't guarantee 100% coverage, especially in a building, or a tunnel, or a cave.

Can all reps(TMobile, Sprint, Cingual, VZW,etc) verify this

One slight caveat--TMobile does NOT charge a "late fee" as such. Only if an account is suspended for non payment will a 10.00 reconnect fee be assessed, and that's up to rep judgement as to whether or not to waive it.

Here's my question... are the tires on your 4 year old Chevy covered if you drive over a bed of nails? How about if it blows a seal and has 200,000 miles on it? Gee Whiz!

Yeah, and if someone throws a brick through your TV screen is it the responsibility of the cable company to send you a nice new replacement 54" plasma screen? And if you decide not to drive your car for a week, do you still have to make your full payment for the month?

"Yuh mean I have to PAY for a phone???!!" 🙄

I have a question that seems like none of the sales people in my area have any knowledge of the following:
I have and own a LG VX-6000 camera phone, which is great in most if not all aspects of technology. My question is, "Does anyone who works for Verzion have any clue "IF" and "WHEN" the LG VX-8000 will be available? This has been kicked around these forums for awhile now. This is the only phone I would be interested in getting. For some unknown reason Vrz. is always dragging their feet when it comes to phones. My one year contract is over with Vrz. in January of 2005. Vrz's selection of phones does not compare to other carriers. So, most carriers where I live have the same coverage as Vrz. So if Vrz can not get this phone out before J...

Can we get rid of this VZW is responsible for making the phones mentality?

LG Electronics is manufacturing the phone. It's not like VZW sent them a letter saying, "Hey guys, take your time, no hurry. Just get the 8000 out whenever..."

The 8000 will be out when LG is finished designing/manufacturing it and VZW is satisfied with the phone's performance and safety. After all, VZW does want to make sure that it won't BURST INTO FLAMES like a Kyocera might.

If you want to tell someone to hurry, by all means, send an email to LG Electronics.

I don't understand where customers get the idea that we are holding info back. yes every rep that works for the company knows when it's coming out, we just collectively got together and said "Oh let's not tell him" just a little sarcasm...sorry had to..it's in my nature...anyways back to business...unfortunately since most people that you speak with directly are not in r&d they're not going to be able to tell you when the phone coming out. For instance we have a new promo period that starts as of Aug. 2nd, do you know when we find out about what, if anything new is coming out...probably the last week in July...it's the same with phones....we might get a random email that says "Hey this is coming out" So un

One of these days cell phones will be like cars and we'll have the June 2005 Nokia "Intuition" and the March 2005 Motorola "Puma" that come "fully loaded" and %0 apr at lease signing and $400 cash back with aproved credit. New phones ever month, gap insurance, 30 month notes, and slogans like "Nokia: Brings the Calls to Life" or "Samsung: Call the World"
