would you ever choose to live without your cell phone?

Sure I would, the wife uses about 700 minutes per month (m2m) just calling me.

Before I got m2m on my AC I plan, my mother rarely called me, even when she originally had Cingular & Nextel. Since shegot VZW in February 2004 and I upgraded my plan to the 400 anytime minute plan on AC I on 08/31/2004, she calls me a lot. I couldn't live without my cellphone as I'm rarely home at the times I would need to otherwise use a landline. But if a local plan I wanted had been available at the time I wanted to sign up with Sprint in March 2002, I'd likely be with them right now, and my mother probably wouldn't call me as much. The on;y other service I might look at ...

That is exactly the point, she calls me waaaayyy too much! For the most part I'm in my office and she can call there if she wants and if I don't answer the phone then she can leave a message and I'll get back to her. I have yet to have her call me with any form of an emergency, I also have a pager if it's really that urgent to contact me but as I said so far that hasn't been the case.

This phone is more like her "watchdog" so she can check up and see where I am when I'm not in my office. I'm waiting for her to start looking at the billing statements to see who I placed calls to or received them from (I have nothing to hide here believe me, 99.5% of my calls are incoming and from either her or people in my office who work in my department...

5 years and going strong w/o a home phone, no way in hell i could go w/o a cell. i broke one and had to wait 3 days for the replacement, i about died of text withdrawls let alone phone calls. gotta have my crack.

I could. The number one reason I have one is for emergency calls since I have an unreliable car.

no but i do have a rusting 89 rivi i plan on pimping when i save some cash. oh and i did drve an 86 centry with electric window and seats that didnt work. 😳 imagine that.

I have a Verizon phone. Not prepay. I like to avoid looking ghetto anyway I can.

I drive a Pathfinder. Every week there is something new wrong with it.
