WTF verizon
verizon has the worst phones in the industry they never put out anything decent. why can ever carrier put out decent phones except verizon. verizon needs to come off it's high horse and get it's act together. they think they are so cool with their network give people what they want before the other carriers run you over.

i totally agreed. I'm suprised that being #2 if not #1 carrier like Verizon can't get the phone manufactures to design better or nicer looking phone for them.

What do you want in a phone? I know that the UI is not the best but, a new one in some of the new phones that were displayed at CTIA, they are working on that.

the UI is still the same...when you watch those videos, verizon is just allowing users to change the color..not the functionality...its pathetic

It's all good I too have jumped on the I hate Verizon train many of times. I recently tried all carriers in my area with the same painful outcome of previous experiences.
If you find a carrier that works well in your area hats off to you. I'm sticking with good old reliable verizon. 😎

Your posting makes no sense???? Do me a favor when you have a chance. Go to Cingular's website and check out the phones they offer. Then come back on here and let me know what they offer besides the Slvr thats so spectacular?
And when your done with that. Go to T-mobiles website and let me know what they have besides the ugly PEBL thats so great.
Have fun with your project.

What's interesting about the 'Verizon needs cool phones to makes its customer happy' is this, that observation is made by someone who is not overly the focus of the Verison key demographic, perhaps an element but not the focus, that is to say, Verison targets to people with disposable income and otherwise a bit older and a bit more conservative in styling. No self respecting business person wants to pull out the jeweled pimp phone. The need a quality phone that works.

Considering that churn is uber low for VZW I highly doubt that having "cool" phones is an issue.
I think that the people that post "VZW phones suck!!!" are the same people that sell these phones and they get bored with them and so they want something new to play with at work.
Given that most of the people on here actually work in the biz, I honestly can't see those people spending 3-4 hundred dollars every 2 or 3 months on new phones.
Also, I've been using cell phones for 15 years now and throughout that time I have realized this: Cool phones usually suck. They look good but they are dead in 6 months. Give me a solid but plain Nokia and I will be happy.

You r right about that, i dont have verizon 😢 , but the phones priced at 29.99 and under usually do the job their supposed to do. And the a950 is a good high end phone that gets the job done as well. 🙂

Like what has been stated many times before on this site, every carrier isnt for everybody. I have sprint because i need a unlimited web access and pic mail, and the vision pack works for me. Also had cingular but sprint works better in my area. Hope you enjoy ur new cingular phone.
