BOGO RAZRs
I just saw an add in the ATlanta paper that the Verizon has the RAZR for $99 after rebate and that you can get them buy one get one free. This seems like a good deal. Does anyone have any details? Is it color specific, any data plan requirements, etc. The add did not seem to be long on those kinds of specifics.

You have to buy 1 for $99, gray only, on a qualified upgrade line or new line of service and sign on for 2 years or an additional 2 years if upgrading, and the free one is the gray only and has to activated on either a new line of service for 2 years, or an upgrade to an existing 2nd line of service due for an upgrade also and extending it another 2 years.
So basically they are both the gray ones, and both need to be new activated lines on the same account or activated on existing lines of service on the same account both due for an upgrade.

Actually, to get the BOGO offer is only for new line activations with a 2 yr agreement and does not apply to upgrades. It's Verizon's way of stealing those people who must have the Razr and don't care about anything else. Once Cingular and T-mobile are well stocked again, the price will go back up, I'm sure.

Well, actually according to the website, the BOGO IS for two NEW lines of service, and on an upgrade you just get 1 RAZR free, but I belive if you are upgrading two lines on the same account or adding a line and upgrading another on the same account, I believe they will still give you the BOGO if you ask about it.

That is disappointing that this is only the grey model. My wife would like the pink one and made that a condition of my possibly switching (she says the ad did not mention color of the phone). Any change to get a pink one and a free grey one?

i dont think its a well inforced rule. if you are porting two numbers and tell them you want the 99 dollar deal and store has the pink razr im sure you could get it. just tell them thats the only way it going to happen youll be surprised what will make its way out of the back room
