lg-vx8100 ver 4
1) I have an 8100 with ver 4 software...would there really be any benefit to have the software flashed, since I am not in an evdo area? I know that they have a ver 7 now for the phone...are there any benefit besides being able to download songs from verizon?

Get the flash, you can turn the mod off and mp3 back on if you need. The update fixes soeme of the camera lag and the earpeice seems to be a little louder and more clear then before the update. Just remeber that the update will zap your get it now game downloads! you can redownload them,but their is only 50 available post flash at this time until they get their crap together
