I jus' call him the Verizon Test Nerd. I laugh everytime I see him in'a commercial. 😁

Tho' i gotta admit, the commericals he's in are very effective. I don' think vzw's gonna retire him any time soon.

Yeah, he is a nice guy, I met him, he was in my front yard saying can you hear me now, then he had to knock on my door to use the landline to call in to headquarters to tell them he is ok, he lost his connection.... 😁

No i am pretty sure it isn't right. If you read through it their are some points that make you think they are full of it, such as the part that he drives around the country on his phone all day testing cell sites. That isn't exactly how verizon does it, I thought they hooked multiple phones up to a computer and drove a van around. The other thing is that the guy is an actor, not a verizon employee. He is not driving around testing cell sites he is sipping a margarita next to his pool at his very expensive estate. I did find it interesting though.

If anyone is entertaining the idea that a brain tumor was developed from having a real phone against his ear and he contracted a cancerous growth (IF this is on the level at all), PERISH THE THOUGHT!!! Yes, this guy is an actor, with lines that have to be memorized. I guarantee you the phone is a "dummy". Who's going to know any different? Not some dolt watching the commercial!!!

Alright, this is getting out of hand. At first, I thought it was funny that someone acutally did not get the joke and thought this was real. Now, it seems that more and more people not realizing that it is a joke. And an obvious one at that. C'mon people. I know that most of us are more intelligent that that. Without even reading the story, you can tell that it is meant to be a joke. Have you checked out any other content on the site? I would like to think that most people can distinguish fact from fiction on the internet, but to my surprise (and horror), I guess they can't. We can do better than this people. I know it.
