I don't know about that. I have the 6700 from Sprint and Windows Mobile 5.0 is ok but nothing that spectacular.

Let's hope it is better, it is also to have a faster chip, bigger screen, etc.

Palm rep said after christmas but before january. He wouldnt tell me anything else though. He said there were some nice goodies in it though so we will see. If I had to guess I would say 400ish Anything over that would be overpaying... It would have to do some pretty jaw-dropping stunts to pay more than 400.

I don't really know where you got that info, but it's partially incorrect. The processor is the same, but the chipset is the PXA272 instead of 270. As for the bigger screen, I don't know about the 700w having a bigger screen that previous Treos. I do know that the screen is only 240x240 as compared to the 320x320 on the 650.

Here's some more info, and I have also heard the potential of a 12/28/05 release, but as we know everything's a rumor until it's in your hands. Somebody over at HoFo said their corporate Verizon rep told them yesterday it would be out in March.

March seems a bit far away to be posted on Verizon's coming soon page. The 12/28 release sounds a bit better.
