Alright,
so the razr has finally come out, and I bought it and returned it a little over a day later...not a big fan. So whats next for VZN? Whats the next high end phone? Any new LG's? Something, the stock thats out right now, just isnt that impressive to me right now. If ya know of anything let us know!

i agree...i have cingular and a lot of friends switched to verizon. But i hate their phones, and something i have to use daily i have to like it. Their phones are pretty big and ugly. Waiting for a smaller phone with a speakerphone and camera.

yeah....
the 815 rocks. it's the last phone that was released with the manucaturers OS.

But WZOM Productions and Defining Edge Manufaturing are soon to release the WZOM-Micron.
The Micron will be the frist true bluetooth phone, using a small bar shaped handset to store phonebook, mp3, and other data. No speaker, no mic on the phone. every command is done via a paired bluetooth device. To be released as soon as someone gives me a business license and enough money to make it.

What do you mean by that?
Are you saying that they are using a different/some other company's OS? If so, which/whose?

I've heard of this thing over in Europe that convert your cell phone into a land-line. It uses either bluetooth or WiFi but will once you are in the AoE, it will switch over to WiFi or whatever to carry calls. Anyone know of what I speak of, or any more complete info on it.

I would hope it would use WiFi. So far I think BT sucks. I seem to remember seeing a phone in Sound and Vision magazine that did this though. Battery technology needs to step up again though. L-Ion batteries were a great step up but the phone features have now far outpaced their capacity. I had a SonyEricson T68 that only had to be charged once a week but it didn't do a whole lot but had a L-Ion battery.

Yeah thats a good point...some new battery innovations would be great! I'm sure they are working on some new technology. I wish I knew what LG had planned for 06, I haven't heard much about their phones for the new year.

Early 2nd Quarter 2006
The Motorolla MCROWVE
The first phone which doubles as a microwave oven. It may be a little bulky though, so not for everyone, but if you find yourself microwaving a lot of frozen dinners, this may be the phone for you.

Late 2nd Quarter 2006
The LG Itsy Bitsy
This 0.24" x 0.76" x 0.01" paper thin phone houses a 18.0 megapixel camera with full stereo High Definition video playback, full bluetooth profiles, a state of the art speakerphone, swiss army knife, and will match your shirt to your pants every morning.

I can't find my links, but I know I saw them somewhere.

What're you talkin' 'bout?

I got the LG Itsy Bitsy on order. The 18.0 megapixel shots will look proper an' then some on the 0.3" screen.

How about this:

Higher pixel count on a screen, 64 bit resolution
Larger expandable memory on handsets
Bluetooth or course. 3d graphics, mp3's...
Not that much more you can add to a phone short of turning it into a PDA phone.

I would settle for the QVGA screens that the 710, 815, and CDM9900 have. The colors and clarity can't be matched. Though if I had to actually get one of those phone, I wouldn't be that excited.
