Best Phone for Reception

Hey everyone. I need some advice on a phone. I'm going to switch to Verizon from Sprint and I wanted to know which phone offered the best service. I know Verizon's service is excellent but some of my friends have Verizon and they get bad service in areas that others don't like certain parts of Downtown Manhattan. All in all, which phone would give me the best service for my buck. Thanks a lot everyone.

I've tried a lot of models, probably all the current models except the new Nokia model. For reception, the Motorola E815 has been the best by far. I get reception in places I never could with other models. Calls are always clear, and my calls always go thru no matter where I am. It has a nice screen. It's bigger than most of the other phones now, but that actual makes it easier to use.
If you don't mind spending extra money for a phone and want the coolest, slimmest phone, you might want to wait for the Moto Razr which should be out any day now with Verizon. I will probably try that out when it comes out, and, if the reception and clarity are as good as the E815, I'd probably get it as it's very small, and could put it in a back pocke...

i think you cant go wrong with motorolas, they have the BEST reception hands down. LG's are good in urban area's, but when you get into rural area's they really go down, in my experience you are better off with an extendable antenna, not a stub or internal.

i have also heard very good things about the nokia 6225i. and audiovox's arent that either.

if it was me i would look at
1)Motorola
2)Nokia
3)Audiovox
4)LG

and i highly suggest you stay away from Samsungs they have horrible recption for verizon!

actually, I have owned a samsung n330 for the past six months and while it doesn't have a camera, it's turned heads and gets great reception. Plus the screen is fun to play with. But, the 815 is also a great phone. If the razr works like the n330, it will be a great phone as well.

E815 for sure..

hope the RAZR is decent because I would hate to have to switch back to the E815 just because the RAZR is so cool looking.
