i agree. why would anyone pay $200 for an old phone when they can get it from cingy for practially free? and the screen quality is hardly worth even making it color! 16-bit!!!!

apparently a good bit of them are! the amount of the SAME EXACT razr release posts ONE AFTER THE OTHER AFTER THE OTHER saying the same old thing is proof enough,......which is wrong time after time after time too!

HELLO MOTO,..there is a V3 board, USE IT!

hey bozo, this was more a vzw post than a moto post, sine it contained real info about the release of a VERIZON WIRELESS phone.

And you know what we appreciate your post with that great info. THANK YOU!!!! just because the moto or verizon bashers can't stand the fact that verizon will crush the competition this x-mas with the release of this phone don't let that discourage you from informative posts. There are a lot of people including myself excited to get this phone on a real network and not on a unreliable ssstttaaattticy network. Just because the ceo's of other companies (cingular) say and admit they are not as good as verizon doesn't mean the bashers should be upset, the old saying goes if you can't beat em join em. So I guess it's time for a lot more customer adds!!! 🤣 🤣

Hey....I love Verizon and their service. I was with them when they used to be GTE. But asking $200 for an old phone is just making fun of your customers....in my humble opinon.

I wouldn't call the V3c an "old phone". Indeed, it does have the same outside appearance as the older, GSM version. But this phone has an improved display, better 1.3 mega pixel camera and high speed data connectivity which "GSM" service providers are not even capable of offering at this point. Verizon doesn't assume its customers are stupid as you say. It is merely a matter of supply and demand. They can charge two hundred dollars because there will be plenty of people willing to pay that amount for the phone. If gas were $4.00 a gallon, (which it will be someday) you would pay $4.00 a gallon. That is how things work, demand determines market value. Not opinions.

actually it is not the same phone as the one cingular sells. the camera really works on the verizon version. major improvements over the original, and where does cingular sell this phone for under $50? I see it on their web site for $199.

Great point jpg...this phone is worth 200 bucks...it is an upgrade over the cingular version (which cingular still sells directly at over 100 dollars, maybe cheaper through indirects) this phone is a major breakthrough for verizon, especially with their biggest CDMA competition, Sprint, getting the Samsung Blade yesterday...stop razr bashing and wake the hell up people! This is a major realease for the most powerful cell company in the states

i would think the Samsund Blade is superior to the Razr just because Samsung does make a better product than Motorola in most cases, but from what I can tell, even Cingualar is a better carrier than Sprint. I was really hoping Verizon would get the Blade and Razr.
I have a new every two and my contract has been up for over 6 months. Want the Razr but scared to sign up for 2 more years with Verizon. There has to be a better company out there than Verizon in the way they take care of customer problems an complaints. Example:
store waiting times, reps who could care less about the customer, reps who push certain phones onto customers who do not know any better as to what is best. Probably do to inventory control. Let's face it, Verizon is a ...

I gotta be honest with you...I have had great success with VZN customer service and at the retail locations. Verizon does kinda screw their customers sometimes, but I really dont think its anything too bad, but hey when you're at the top, this is the type of stuff you can get away with....Oh and I wouldnt doubt it if VZN gets the blade eventually, i heard they were testing it along with sprint.

At the low end, Samsung probably is better. I know a lotta peeps wit' entry level Samsungs, an' they seem to last forever. The Moto V260/V265 on the other hand, was kinda a disaster. 😳

But at the high end, Moto does seem ta know how to make a good phone. Nearly everyone likes the e815 an' the RAZR, meantime the Samsung 950 has gotten some mixed reviews.
