My Review of Verizon's LG VX4500

After reading many reviews on the LG VX4500, I was convincing this was the phone I will get. I had debated many times between the VX4500 vs. VX4600. The main differences between the two in my opinion are:

1) VX4500 has speaker phone capability
2) VX4600 has 256k color screen, while the VX4500 only has 64k color screen

Otherwise they are pretty much the same phone, other than the design look.

Once I got the phone, I was so much in love with it. The speakerphone feature is awesome. This was the deciding factor as to why I got the phone. I tend to be in meetings and conference calls while I drive to work. My work commute is usually approx 1 ½ hours, so having something of this nature is very impor...

Thanks for the useful review. The LGs are generally pretty good phones, at least the mid-to-high end handsets. I'm not a big fan of the VX3100, and I hated the 510, VX1 & VX10.

You're right about the MOK. Don't buy the one from Radio Crack. It's overpriced & not as functional as the OEM version. Then again, most of the stuff at R$ is overpriced junk - take it from someone who knew firsthand...

Ouch. That sounds expensive jmj4441..

Anyways yes the LG-VX4500 has rave reviews from several of my co-workers. The only issue I have is the battery life of all the current LG phones is shorter than I would like.. Get a cig charger or an extended battery as you will most likely need it.

I charge my LG-VX4400 every 2 days cause the battery has run out on me twice just sitting on my desk.

Same thing with my vx6000, Fox. If not ...

That's strange. The Motorola's typically have shorter battery life than LG. That has been the largest complaint about the 720 and 730 is the battery life. You can't beat LG.

The 720 has alot more problems than the battery life. 😉
