Moto Experiment of 2004.

When I know I'm going to be in a very noisy place like an airport, I switch to the V60i as the volume is much louder.

I have the Moto T730 (and occasionally switch back to the V60i). The T730 gets great reception, and has excellent call quality. People I talk to cannot believe I'm on a cell phone. The only problem I have experienced is that the sound coming out of the receiver is not as loud as it should be, so you have to hold the phone exactly right up to your ear to hear. When there's a lot of background noise, it's sometimes hard to hear. Using a good headset eliminates that problem, and the sound is crystal clear. I tested the LG's and Samsungs, and I liked the Moto better based strictly on call quality and reception.

One little anecdote... Today I had a college girl come in who had been unfortunate enough to buy a T720 when she first signed up, and went through FIVE of them before they finally replaced it with a T730 instead. When that one started having the same issues right away, she came in and ported to T-Mobile. She got a Samsung E105, so I know she'll be pleased. Hey Verizon... "can you hear me now?" Okay that joke is played out, and I would hope that Ve...

T 720.
I often take several phones out camping/hiking, or wherever I can find a fringe area and make some test calls to 611.
IMO the Motorolas are highly overated, although they do seem to have a smoother sound. Kind of dark, with less treble. It's as if, the frequencies that the ear is most sensitive to CDMA voice quality errors are "masked".
The Motorola 7868's and v60's just don't seem to hold up, reception wise in comparison to some of the other good Verizon phones. ...

I refuse to carry any Motorola phone that begins with the letter "T", but I'm not an overall Moto hater like so many on here. I've used the V300 for a couple months with T-Mobile and really liked it, and I also used the V60s for a few days with Verizon and was kinda sad when I had to sell it.

As an in store technician for VZW, I have to replace more motos than any other handset, mostly due to the poor charging port design. I find it comical when a phone tells you "Unable To Charge". WTF!!! Anyways, the more you wiggle to get the phone to charge, the more likely that the pins will come off the board.
Yeah, I was perfectly aware of the charger port problems when I purchased my t730...but it's just an experiment. I'll also let you guys know if my charging port gives up the ghost. Thanks for replying.
