A while ago, I saw a post on Verizon`s early upgrade policies. Can someone tell me where to find that again?

Try the search field. Failing that, dial *611 from your mobile phone and hit send.

Pfft.

The early upgrade policy is as follows:

- Must be on a 2-year plan
- Must have completed at least a year of service
- Must have a price plan of $59.99 or higher
- Must renew on a 2 yr agreement

That all being said, any or all of those conditions can be waived. I've seen people come in after 7 months with a phone on a $39.99 price plan on a one year contract, and csr service or a DM approves not only an early upgrade, but a NEWE2 credit!

So my advice - if you meet the above criteria, no worries. If not, call customer service, and sooner or later you'll get someone who will grant the early.

Just be careful....reps hate early upgrades 😈

Normal upgrades: 2 months remaining on phone contract. 1 yr contract/ upgrade every 10 months, 2 yr/ every 22 months, including New Every 2 $100 credit

Early upgrades: 4 months remaining , 1 yr / 8 months, 2 yr / 20 months. Only reason to wait full 22 months would be for NE2 $100 credit, otherwise a loyalty credit can be given based on the customers calling plan, varying from $20-up. if does 2 yr with early upgrade.

Anything but these 2 situtions would be an acception to the actual policy, but is frequently done. Customers that spend $100-, $200, $300 per month certainly would be more likely for more frequent discounts as Verizon will recoup the cost of the phones faster etc, and any good rep will recognize that fact by glancing a...

That upgrade policy that the prev post was about is put on hold as of today.. Pretty much the official "Early" upgrade policy is 4 months within original contract date, or of last phone upgrade. Right now the date would be set as 2 months that you would be eligible, but can do 4 months now.. The early upgrade policy where you have to be on 59.99 pp was due to launch in a couple of weeks and is offical on hold..
