Rating Speakerphones...
It seems that there are several folks here who are literally 'phoneoholics', as in, they really have tried nearly every phone that's come out for VZW.
One thing I'd like to ask such folks is... if you had to rate the speakerphone ONLY for each VZW phone, how would it rank? Excellent, good, fair, beyond horrible, what?
I ask 'cuz my next phone will likely have one (my Sammy 530 is great, but lacks one- why Samsung, why??), and I've heard some pretty terrible speakerphones out there. My gf, for example, has a Vox 8610 or somesuch crap on VirginMobile, and the speakerphone on that thing seems to be incredibly weak and lame. âšī¸

The only speaker phone I have used that was any good for Audiovox was the 9500 and 9900, which are both made by Toshiba
LG has a very good speaker phone on all their phones that have the feature.
Keyocea is good too. Average quality phone
Motorola also has a good speakerphone, however the phone quality itself lacks a little.
Im with ya on Samsung not offering a speaker phone, however the n330 that is coming out Friday (21st) will have it, so we will see how good it is when it comes out.

Yeah i have the a530 as well and im super stoked for the Samsung N330 to come out cause it does have speakerphone.

Nice! Looks like this is the much-awaited replacement to the entry-level a650... 'cept they fixed a couple of boneheaded decisions they made with the 650 (no external display, no speakerphone).
Wow... I was complaining before about how there were so few choices for folks like me who wanted a relatively full-featured NO CAMERA phone ('cuz my work doesn't allow camphones)... and in the same week both the Kyocera Soho and the Sammy 330 pop up (plus LG 3300 is comin', though its no external display- bummer).
Is it a karmic "B***h and ye shall receive" thing goin' on here? Sweet. đ

Seems like the consensus is that most VZW phones have good speakerphones... except for non-Toshiba-made Audiovox models.
