When do the remaining Alltell stores convert to VZW?
So I'm visiting the family in Colorado, when do the remaining Alltel stores convert to VZW corporate stores? My parents are tired of driving 30 miles to the nearest VZW corp store when there is an existing Alltel store in their own town.
I know there is that whole FCC mandate that some of the Alltel stores had to remain, but when does all that end?

Any stores that are still Alltel are going to stay Alltel until a new carrier buys them, those are the ones that VZW did not buy.

It ends when the Alltel stores turn into whatever network is buying them. Verizon's done converting the stores they bought, now it's up to some other company to convert the ones that the government forced Verizon to sell (which is what you're looking at now when you see an Alltel store.
