Contract Return and Reset

Hello,

I purchased a phone and returned it (didn't do what I was told it could...Omnia II). I paid my restocking fee and purchased another phone and this one appears very buggy.

If i return this second phone and go back to my old phone will my contract and new every 2 reset?

If you return this second phone and go back to your old phone, your contract end date will be reset but your upgrade date will not. You will not be able to upgrade at discounted pricing on that number again for at least 20 months.

So again, your contract will reset back to the original date but your new every two and upgrade date will not.

Sorry your new phones didn't work out for you.

is that because we used our exchange? I thought i had read somewhere you could go back to old device within 30 days?

sorry...just trying to understand all the ins and outs 🙂

You are within your 30 days, the system should reset your dates. If not, ask to have them reset back to what they were prior.

that would be wonderful...even though they waived the restock fee and we swapped once?

sorry I know I am probably asking the same question 3 times but just want to be sure.

I think I said earlier we paid the restock but our local store offered to waive it. (my mistake)

Just ask the representative at the store if your dates have been reset and if it all possible would you be able to upgrade at anytime.

no wasn't the omnia II (sorry if i typed that) was the droid. the phone was AMAZING but our data discount is no longer with our employer so we switched to the rogue. well...come to find out you can wireless sync with gmail calendar on the rogue and for various other reasons we need the full data package (hinde sight is 20/20) this is no fault of vzw just my own stupidity....I called the 800 number and the rep said because we used our 1 exchange we can't return this equipment and reset our contract and ne2...also no chance at swapping out back to the droid. ☚ī¸ ugh any insight (other than expanding on my stupidity) would be helpful lol

You will be able to have all dates reset.

Curious questions, what did the Omnia 2 not do that they represented?
