👀 Is it me or do I always get the snotty mean reps on the phone when I call verizon for assistance! Just because you are number one doesn't mean anything! Soon to be 2 again with the iPhone 3gs release! I mean SPRINT has better customer service come on verizon. Maybe there is a certain time I should call verizon.

Anybody with bad experiences with Verizon???

How are you going to say this when you AT&T post saying you want to jump ship from AT&T...?

And Sprint does not have better customer service. I think you are a troll trying to start crap.

Ok. Well, I have never had a bad time when on the phone with customer service. Tech support can be kinda /\/\/\/\, but nothing as bad as I had with the other networks I have had.

You don't leave a company because of bad service. You look at the network and the phone first. You are not marrying the customer service guy.

customer service is very important to a lot of people. It's why I will never buy a Dell.

Quoted for truth.
I will never EVER buy a Dell because of their absolutely HORRIBLE customer service.

I currently have Sprint. I ran Verizon and more recently ATT along with Sprint and I've got nothing bad to say about any of them. If I ever had an issue, Sprint has been quick to take care of it for me, normally resolving the issue in one call. ATT was the same way. Verizon I only had one issue that I needed to ask to speak with supervisor, but it was a complicated issue that the store screwed up.

what it comes down to is that customer service is relatively similar no matter where you go. most policies are the same. it's just that so many people ask for ridiculous things. and no matter who you are, if you want a free blackberry for $25/month with no contract and 20% off your bill evey month. I think most cell commpanies are going to deny you. and then people get pi**ed off cuz they can't get what they want, so they cancel and go to another company that won't give it to them either

Yeah, you haven't noticed a difference, but I've noticed differences before. When I left ATTWS (after Cingular got them) and I was a regular customer, I had a billing error (I had to change my plan and add texting since I wasn't an employee anymore, but texting was never added), which was their fault and they gave me **** about it saying I was trying to take advantage of them since I had internal knowledge of how things went. They gave in after I called my former manager and told him that texting was never added to my account (he had the paperwork showing my request).

I concur wholeheartedly. I called Dell and the hold music asks: "Would you ike your call to be answered in two to three minutes by a North American operator?" I'm thinking 'H*ll yes!' Then it turns out that one has to pay extra for that privelege. Of course, instead I wait for the tech rep named Bob to tell me that it is not a Dell problem (it never is until the warranty is up).

not trying to argue or anything, but seriously, sprint has had such a bad rap for so long. but in the last year, their cust service has really turned around. just read the JD power reports. sprint is tied at number one for cell phone customer service. the undiputed number one most improved. sprint also has one phone of the year 2 years in a row, last year it was the instinct, this year it's the pre

Alltel was number 1, Verizon was number 2... Sprint never tied.

And Sprint was never tied for customer service ratings.

Its been T-Mobile and Verizon.

Since you keep having bad experiences...have you ever thought...maybe it's you? 🤣

By the way...explaining the situation and the representative's response might have made it a better post than just saying they were rude.

VZW Rep: "Thank you for calling Verizon Wireless, what can I do for you today?"

jbecool80: "I have been looking at your Storm and I want to get an upgrade since I hate my crappy azz xyz phone that youz people talked me into. I know I get this extra 100.00 off so that should make this storm 49.99 right?"

VZW Rep: "I'm sorry you don't like your current phone sir, are you having any issues with it?"

jbecool80: "(sighing noticeably) I TOLD you I want the Storm quit wasting my valuable time."

VZW Rep: "Okay I'd be happy to check into your upgrade eligibility then and see what options we have."

jbecool80: "Well hurry up I've gotta go to a meeting"

VZW Rep: "Mr. Cool, I do see that you have a line on your account that you ...

LOLz, I like that but thats not what happened... It was a billing error that I had for a service never purchased, I did ask to speak to a supervisor and he realized it was a error. But for some reason the original rep did not see that and kept giving me a hard time.

I do apologize that every time you have an interaction with VZW it is a negative experience. Have you considered allowing someone else to manage your account? There are some people who are just very visual minded, and find face to face conversations easier to comprehend. I can't discuss a bill without having it in front of my face. Perhaps it would be to your benefit to allow a cooler head to conduct business for you?

So your saying that verizon is 100% perfect and there is no way on earth I would get a bad customer service rep??????????

FYI: NO CELL PHONE COMPANY IS PERFECT ALL OF THEM HAVE THERE PROS. AND CONS. ABOUT THEM! AND I AM NOT BASHING VERIZON. BECAUSE LIKE I HAVE STATED BEFORE THEIR SERVICE IS AWESOME COMPARED TO OTHERS. ITS JUST THAT I HAVE HAD SOME BAD REPS. and I am not one of those customers that ask for things that are above and beyond I just called about a simple billing issue.
