Now be kind folks > but all I want is a candybar phone with bluetooth. So this phone is very interesting to me to say the least. Apparently it is FCC approved for Verizon. Anyone can guess when it will be available ?

Soon. About the best I can tell you. It was recently demonstrated with the enV3 and enV Touch (Voyager 2). I assume all three will be launched around the same time, probably after we've burned through a good part of the remaining enV2/Voyager stock.

Hmmmm...didn't the Voyager and Env2 just go on some kind of sale? 🤣 gee...I wonder if they did that on purpose.

I just had a customer come into my store:

"Yeah, uhh... I was looking to upgrade my phone. I don't need anything fancy.... So what's this deal you have on the BoGo blackberries?"

It was so hard not laughing.

In other news, what's the Glance for those of us Firewalled?

If you're firewalled at corp Verizon, this link should work:

It was a phone held up - briefly - by Jack Plating during the recent Q1 results broadcast.

It's a 1X bar phone by LG AKA the "I don't want anything fancy" or the "I don't want a flip phone" handset.

I'm not at a corp store, but the link worked.. thanks.

That should actually be a decent phone around here. a lot of people complain that we don't have any bar style phones anymore.

My guess is it'll be a good phone. I think a lot of people who ask for "nothing fancy" really mean they want a simple layout rather than a slew of buttons and hinges. They don't always mean the features of the phone - most could care less about that these days, as most anything does most everything anyway.

Plus, it's LG. It's not heat-sensitive, ground-breaking, or game changing. The format should be pretty tried and true for this handset.
