Debating about Which is a cheaper way to go
Also, most employee discounts are off of the plan only, and not plan+features. So while a connect plan would be covered, under a lesser plan only the actual voice section would be covered.
Lets take a 450 minute plan:
39.99*.17(discount)=33.19+10(text)+15(data)=$ 58.19
Connect plan:
69.99*.17=$58.09
So by your telling me its more worth just staying on the connect plan instead of just getting the basic plan?
And yes, from the sound of it, your connect plan will be cheaper (though not by much. If your discount also applies to features, go with the alacart option)
The more I read of your posts here, it almost sounds like when you say Data, you mean tethering to a laptop. That is not covered under either of those packs, you have to pay extra for that service.

Yeah, I was getting that idea too. I don't see how else he could be confusing data & web, which are two words for the same thing in this case.
I know I had some customers that mess my thinking up so much that for the next few customers I had to double check everything I said.
I definitely feel it was a context question. They must have been confused by some aspect of the inquiry. My guess is they were referring to the fact that Nationwide plans give you free access to Mobile Web, but charges you per MB. America's Choice (older) plans didn't include Mobile Web, you had to pay more to even use it. Now, you can use it, you just pay for it in the $1.99/MB charges.
If its a regular phone then the $15 Vcast Pac does give you unlimited data for Mobile Web.
If its a PDA phone then you need the $29.99 unlimited email/internet plan added to the account.
The connect plan yes has unlimited data except for the VCast Video. Video access is going to charge you the megabyte pricing to access and view them.
Best of luck!
