I have seen the pictures and some of the specs of the phone, but I haven't heard when it will be available. Any info would be appreciated.

The question I have is has Nokia learned how to get CDMA right? Nokias are probably the most user-friendly phones in the business, which accounts for their huge popularity, but as everyone knows, their strength is GSM, not CDMA. I had LOTS of Nokias sent to me gratis some years ago from a friend who worked the Verizon side of Nokia in the east. I loved using the phones, but technically, other brands were generally superior in holding onto the call, and this was IN a Verizon market (Washington, DC to be exact).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have not heard of many problems with the 6205 for Verizon. I don't have much experience with the 2605, but that is such a low end phone. The Nokia's that Verizon had previous to these phones were made by Pantech and they seemed to have a lot of problems. Some of the first Nokia CDMA phones worked well after they got some of the PRL problems worked out. I think Nokia just wants to get their name associated with Verizon now so that when LTE comes available they already have a foot in the door. It will be interesting to see what Nokia & Verizon will come up with for the LTE launch.

I was thinking of that as well. Why? Because in the new Verizon Hand Guide, it has the 7205 in it for the month.

I checked Infomanager. The phone's pricing tab shows a March 23 release date, assuming nothing changes.

I found it interesting that the made the semi-pink version with a flower pattern for a nav pad, while the other one is more masculine / generic with a plus sign shaped pad. Usually, it's just a color difference, not just a physical one.

I've played with the phone a little. Feels nice. Nothing screams out at me, though that's always been the effect of Nokia phones, even during the bar phone days.

That is, except the times I thought I'd scream just looking at a ridiculous-looking phone... like the 6305i.
