HTC Touch Pro2

Hi All, Since the HTC Touch HD may not come to the US, or in CDMA, the new Touch Pro2 may have the potential to become the new VZW WMP king.

Can you guys confirm whether this phone is coming to the VZW this year? And if yes, when? The Cnet news below doesn't mention VZW.

Cnet News:
According to HTC's Twitter feed, the Touch Pro2 is officially coming to North America. We had every indication that it would, but this confirms it.

The feed also says that while there's no specific date, it will "start to roll out late Q2" this year. That means those of you who are waiting for the Pro2 hotness only have to wait a few more months.

you always post questions asking people to speculate.

NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE!!!

And if they guess a date, they are doing just that, guessing.

Just be patient and wait for something to get leaked on one of the tech blogs.

What I like to know is not so much when, but if it's coming to VZW?

Verizon will of course get a new HTC device this year, but prolly not till the back half of the year.

The exact model we get is anyones guess tho.

Thanks, I think it's better to receive a post from a VIP customer who's been with VZW for 10 years looking for new products than from those whining about bad phones, bad service, high fees... don't you agree? .;) S

Cause I have the HTC Touch Pro (and had the Touch), they can keep them for all I care. I didn't pick the phone, and if I had, I would have returned it long ago.

I don't need the HTC Touch HD / Pro 2 when I've had the Xv6600, XV6700, XV6800, XV6850, and XV6900 models and never been as impressed with them as I was with my Samsung i700, i730, i760, or Omnia - OR with my "it can do anything" Blackberry.
