So I picked up a Moto Krave ZN4 yesterday and today noticed that in my car the handsfree bluetooth keeps dropping out and then reconnecting. 😕

Anyone else have issues with bluetooth and the Moto ZN4?

I've used a number of different phones in my vehicle and none have done this.

Oh well, back to VZW for a return. ☚ī¸

Some phones are weird like that. I know a few people that can't use their car's BT because their phone isn't having it but when my phone is set up with it it works just fine. Does your car's BT only work with certain bt versions?

Have the store check which software you have on your phone. There has been a software update for that phone, that may help it. If not they will have to replace it.

When the Storm first came out, a lot of car devices wouldn't work for it right until the car received a software update.

After verifying the phone and the car are connected, remove the phone battery for about 30 seconds then put it back in and power it up.

Motos are notorious for needing to be reset after connecting to a Bluetooth device. Plus, taking the batter off and putting it back on doesn't reset the phone. I've done a battery pull and put it back in in 10 seconds or less only to find the phone never fully shut off.

And whoever mentioned making sure the software is up to date is also on the mark.

The good news is, Moto was one of the only manufacturers who went to most BT unit makers to actually test and ensure compatibility, so you likely have the best device for the job.

Have the Verizon rep check the most recent compatibility chart for t...

So to do any kind of software update to a cell phone you need to go to the store? No way to update over the air?

How do you know if an update is available? Anyplace online to check?
