I live quite a few miles from a corp. store. I ordered my phone online. What would be the best way to return or exchange it?

ship it back. I thought you had to ship it back if you order online?

Can someone confirm this.

It can be returned to a corporate store or you can return it the way you received it, thru the mail. Just get the return label and place it outside of the box and call fedex or drop it off at a local fedex facility. Also, before shipping please write down the tracking # for your records

We've always been told through Info manager that you must return where you purchased the item. The phone came with return labels.

This is correct. The corporate stores have separate inventories than online or customer service. Its very rare that a corporate store will take back anything purchased through direct fulfillment.

You ship it back if you dont have time to go to a corp store. make sure you contact verizon after and make sure your upgrade eligibility was rolled back

You ship it back either way. Corporate stores will not take it back. I've called and practically begged them to for a customer and they either can't or won't. Depends on who you talk to lol.

Most stores won't accept returns from online purchases, but the ones that I've dealt with that do accept the returns charge a $20 return fee just b/c it wasn't purchased thru that store.

Just return it and find out. By the time you decide where to return it the 30 days will be up.
