The only phones that sync out of the box are PDA phones, most of which require a data plan.

Of the PDAs that don't require a data plan, the Palm Centro, HTC VX6800, and HTX XV6900 are about the only ones left. Keep in mind, not signing up for a data plan doesn't necessarily remove the ability to be charged for using data when you use it (on an expensive per kilobyte rate).

I would check into Motorola phone tools - great program and works with the majority of motorola phones - except some of the really old ones. This will sync your info with Outlook perfectly.

any phone with bitpim, or
I have had no issues using bluetooth on my lg dare. People will argue that on here but I use it all the time, no extra programs or any of that crap. I just have a cheap $20 bluetooth dongle i bought form bestbuy and synced my calender/contacts no problems (i used outlook on pc), you can send calender events 1 at a time or there is an option to send all at once. It is not a true sync but more of a copy and paste, but works for me. Also send my pictures through bluetooth. If you use the cable that comes with it you will probably need to download bitpim....it is free, otherwise bluetooth works for me.
