Options for a Phone Exchange

I got my Omnia shipped on 11/26 and I just recently noticed a discoloration / spot in the middle of the touchscreen (just like a TV that has a spot on the screen that doesn't disappear). The spot measures about 1/4 of an inch wide, is very faint and you have to look very carefully to see it. Because I know it's there, it's become very distracting to me.

My question to the experts is what options do I have in getting it exchanged for another Omnia? It doesn't seem like this should be an issue with a brand new phone and I certainly haven't been pressing hard or abusing the touchscreen.

Thanks for any suggestions or feedback you have.

Since you are within the 30 day warranty you can exchange it for a brand new Omnia. If you wait until after the 30 days you will receive a Certified Like New device

I thought this might be the way to go. Any advice on how to approach this? I'm thinking that most people use the 30 day "worry free" to exchange for another type of phone, rather than switching out for a new phone of the same make and model.
