Verizon's PTT is equal to Nextel's. I have the new KX444 and the connection is instant ( 1 second). I have also noticed that the speaker quality is better with the VZW phones. I used Nextel before and the new PTT with VZW is right on.

I agree with you VZW rocks I have the LG4700 and I have had the V60p poor battery life on that phone.
