First of all I own the dare. I wanted something new so I got the Storm. Well it does have issues. One thing that bugs me is the fact that I use my right thumb to do my navigating and texting. I seem to have to touch above everything that I want to select. Its crazy and I can’t handle that. Also my dare takes way better pictures.

As for the Omnia. Dam I over nighted the phone. I can’t even believe the guys that reviewed this phone. The screen looks like **** and I mean that bad. Come on the Dare screen blows this away. Why would they put such a bad screen on a 5 mp picture camera phone? It made me sick. As for the 5mp camera, it does what the motorola Maxx did. When you take the picture. It focuses, the picture is perfect. When ...

I respectfully disagree with you. I have never used a Dare, so I cannot compare the screens directly, however the screen on the Omnia is very bright and crisp. It is much better than the regular phones I've used (Gleam, EnV, 9400) Additionally, the camera has a setting to help with shake during the taking of the picture. Turn that on and you may see better camera results. I know I did.

Might've just had a bad experience.. I own the omnia and play wit the dare often.. to me personally there is a difference in screen quality with the dare taking the upper hand.. but its not an immediately noticeable or obvious difference. And my camera works fine no blur.. just might want to play with your camera settings

I saw your post. I am thinking of getting the Dare and was wondering why you wanted to get rid of it? Are you just looking for something different or did you have a problem with it? Thanks

People like getting new things, there are a lot of people who only keep a phone for a few months before switching. From what he's said, he likes the dare the best out of the three, he's just looking for something different.

the dare is a wonderful phone, and i have owned it since launch. if you want a camera, fun and pretty well working touchscreen phone, its great.

now if you need a pda, its not great.

i have owned a couple windows and bb phones. my recent were 6800 and curve(which i have now). i got the curve 2 days ago like new for 130 with a 2gb card (no contract). i activated it and still have my dare, but am waiting for the omnia.

with the curve, its great. i can go on the web, then leave it running, send a text, while listening to music. i cant do that on the dare. (i can listen to music and text, or music and web, but not music/text/web.

basically, if you need to do EVERYTHING at the same time (minus voice and data) get the omnia.

if you ...

Keep testing for me, I for one can't afford the $35 everytime a new phone is exchanged.

I'm throwing the Bullish flag on this.

I find it odd that you "own" all these phones (went through your posting history) and all your posts are about how "bad" VZW phones are and how VZW CSR's are mushrooms and the absolute worst.

I doubt you even own this phone. I just think you wanted the attention by being the first to post something negative.

I, on the other hand just picked this phone up and I don't have any of the complaints you have and neither do the people that posted actual reviews.

I dont need to prove anything to you. What I say is true about the phones. As for the mushrooms. Sad but true. A phone is released and most reps still dont know for days. Verizon phones have gotten better. However look what verizon had for phones in comparison to the others. A hole.......its not like I open the box wishing the phone had issues. I am just trying to get other thoughts........got yours.....big guy! As for trolling.....who the hell has time to do that??? I have been a verizon customer for over a decade(please lets not get into a pissing contest) and I will always be a verizon customer.

I'm confussed... What do you mean by Verizon phones? Verizon doesn't make phones, do they?

I am also currious about your review of the Omnia... It does have a lower resolution screen than some of the newer smartphones, but it has the same resolution as the Dare...

How did you like the captive touch of the Omnia though?

What about the media options?

What about the widgets?

so the phone is a disaster because you didnt like the screen resolution and you got a blurry picture?

I dont know what you are talking about because the screen resolution is more then servicable, its not best in the industry but its not aweful. and the camera is very good.

just a question, were the pics blurry on the screen and if you sent them to a computer, or just the phone?

the reason i ask is sometimes on a 65k color screen if the pic is big it will look bad and pixelated.
