Gotta Love VZW

So the big thing with the Storm was you have to have placed the order by 1pm Central Time or some crap like that.

i placed my order at 11am Eastern, and when I inquired about a tracking number today, I was informed that my order was processed until 2pm, even though I placed it in the morning.

I don't know how everyone else feels but these drama with availability has made me not even want the phone all that much anymore, plus I've had time to read all the reviews on it, starting to make me rethink.

Just seems like these release didn't go as Verizon expected it to go.

does anything ever go how they expect it to go?
vzw is like the eagles, they will always find a way to screw it up. 😲

lol, I like the way you put that but I guess nothing ever goes the way we expect it to go. It was kinda funny too though, cause I was really nice with the Rep on the phone as I always am but he even said he knew I pissed.

Looks like I'll be waiting, maybe the Omnia will come out and I can play with that as well.

It's the biggest phone on the planet right now, of course it's going to be hard to get your hands on.
Your order was probably placed after hundreds of other orders and it's gotta be a first come first serve plan with these phones.

I'm sure you can always cancel your order if you wanted. Maybe the Storm isn't even the phopne for you...

Weird. I've noticed also that on some of the PDA devices the mall kiosk stores don't even put them out on display - especially the non BB ones - but when you go and specifically ask for them, they'll dig underneath and suddenly they appear. It's very weird. Is this a conscious attempt on the part of Verizon to push the blackberries? haha

I prefer to keep them where someone interested asks...they are not toys for every kid that passes by to play with.

I've used the Omnia. If you've ever used a touch screen PDA before, or have issues with the Storm, the Omnia might be the best phone for you. It's been causing me to consider canceling my Storm order for days now.

I don't think you can base wanting the phone on the reviews. You have to try it for yourself to see if you'll like it. I personally love mine.

Thank you. Especially when it comes to a phone that isn't available yet, or one that just came out that needs some tweaking. That's why instead of asking for advice on these newer devices, people should just be a bit patient and wait until more reviews come in and time passes.

also keep in mind, its very obvious by the wording on many of these reviews that the reviews were created on someones Mac Book Pro 🤣

If you cant have patience for anything in life, refuse when it arrives, very SIMPLE!!!! Also if you request the rep who placed your order TO BE TREATED SPECIAL, DEMAND instants rebates, etc just BECAUSE you are SUCH a wonderful person who deserves to be treated like a King or Queen then yes your order is delayed because a manager has to approve before being sent to warehouse!!! 90% of the people who have issues with orders etc is because of the above and don't advise me to not complain as sick of hearing about silly issues. I am a consumer also of many things in life it amazes me everyday how people call companies over and over...couldnt even tell you the last time I called ck to ck bal, make pymts with companies and that is usually usin...

Take your calm down pill, it is not that serious. There is nothing wrong with a consumer calling a company to inquire about a purchase that a customer paid for.

If you read my post than you noticed at the end of it, I said I guess I'll just be waiting then... Which means that I don't really have a choice but to wait.

I don't speak to customer service myself either, I use my automated system as well. So calm down, and get a grip.

No worries, I have a grip! If I waste energy worrying about something, it would be family or friend (you know? something worth caring about, lol!) not a freaking phone.
