Blackberry Question?
Is the bold coming out for Verizon anytime soon? I want to get the Storm, but after all of the recent posts about the software problems and the device not being what they thought it was going to be, i don't know if i want to get it know. I have a year left on my verizon contract and want to upgrade, but not sure to what. Thanks for the help.

Don't listen to all of the opinions........because they are just that. You have 30 days to try it. Go to a store and play with the phone. There have been software updates already. The phone is fine. You have to make the decision if it is for you.

I got to play with it for about 30 minutes on Thursday night.
I wasn't overly impressed. The looks great and the screen is amazing, but I am prolly going to keep my phone. If you are a heavy texter/emailer like I am, the storm will def frustrate you more so than make our life easier.

its really not that hard. im surprised you found it difficult man. i bagged on the phone a little but its actually a really cool phone.

I didnt say it wasnt cool, I have a lot of respect for the device and I would still take one over the iphone, but I think there are too many software bugs to say the phone is great right now

its the coolest device i have seen that's for sure. the software updates are coming quick you're reading the same news i am, its a winner and its a must have phone. i should of got up early and got one but i brushed it off 😢

I dunno about "must have"...once again, that depends on how you use your blackberry. I text way to much (most of the time without looking) and I just dont think the storm is going to be good for me.
However, I did get an invite to upgrade early, so if I can snag one for $199, maybe I'll take a chance on it.

no i didnt get to play with it yet but i am today....i am getting a new phone for christmas and have the curve now so i might get the storm after seeing it or the dare ......any other suggestions?

Stay away from the dare!
If you want a smartphone there is going to be a lot to chose from over the next month. Most are WM devices, but they look pretty promising.
i love my curve, so I will prolly stick with this device for right now.

The dare is a very good phone. If you need a pda, wait for the touch, awesome phone.

I dunno about "very good" I know 3 people that had it, and all of them have returned it within their 30 days.

All phones have bugs and they fix them quickly. I have done so much research on the Storm that I will be buying one in December when my contract is up. I now carry a PDA and the LG Voyager and I want just one device to use. The Storm is it for me. Even the Voyager had upgrades and I love this phone. The iPhone had lots of bugs and still does.
